S2 Episode 2: Email and Outlook

CareerEQ

Most business schools spend a lot of time training students on how to conduct formal presentations. However, the fact of the matter is that young professionals will spend much more time in their daily work life communicating via email than they will delivering formal presentations. They will also spend more time performing informal presentations than formal ones, but that’s another topic for another time.

Quite honestly, business schools do not do a good job of training students on how to properly communicate via email, and as a result, many young professionals have shot-themselves-in-the-foot, thus stunting their early career progression. Don’t let that happen to you. This episode will get you started in learning how to mold your personal brand in the art & science of daily digital communications.

Guests:

Matthew Bonner, Brand Manager, Procter & Gamble (Old Spice brand), FCOB Class of 2020

Lori Kendall, MBA Academic Director and Senior Lecturer in HR & Management at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University
