Meet Sherifat Alabi, the producer & host of the Regenerative Champions Podcast

As a graduate student at the Ohio State University, Sherifat majored in agricultural communication with interest in regenerative agriculture and urban farming. A recipient of the Graduate Student Research Grant by the Sustainability Institute at Ohio State and partnership with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services Regional Conservation Partnership Program, Sherifat produced this podcast series to elevate the voices of small-scale regenerative farmers during her doctoral program.

Originally from Nigeria, Sherifat earned her master’s degree in agricultural extension and rural development from the University of Ibadan as well as a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and extension from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria.

It is a great honor that she gives generously her time, support, and skills to the advancing regenerative agriculture community and urban food systems.
